Founded in 2022 by Music Director Dr Changmuwei Wei, the award-winning The Cloud Children's Choir provides a space for promising young singers ages 5-18 to develop their artistry in a creative and supportive environment.
The Cloud Children's Choir is dedicated to building New Zealand's most outstanding and systematic choral training pathway, providing children across New Zealand with a world-class, professional platform for choral education and performance.

The Cloud Children's Choir won a Gold Award at Kids Sing, New Zealand's premier children's choir competition - marking The Cloud's first major competition achievement.
The Cloud Children's Choir began a long-term collaboration with Auckland Choral, New Zealand's oldest choir, presenting joint choral concerts at Auckland Town Hall, the country's largest and most prestigious concert venue.
The Cloud launched its first Echoes of Culture concert series, collaborating with Sweet Psalmist Children's Choir (Chengdu) and Little Skylark Children's Choir (Guangzhou) in two consecutive days of cultural exchange concerts.
In July 2024, The Cloud Competition Choir represented New Zealand at the 13th World Choir Competition, winning a Gold Award in the Children's Choir Category.
In July 2025, The Cloud Competition Choir competed in Shenzhen alongside 56 choirs from 8 countries, winning the championship title. As representatives of New Zealand, the choir raised the national flag and performed the national anthem on the international stage.

The Cloud Choir has grown into New Zealand's largest choral organisation for children, youth, and young adults, with over 400 singers aged 5-45. It continues to inspire and elevate the choral landscape, setting new standards for choir training.
